Neil Jacobson, the former Geffen Records president who founded Hallwood Media, did more than any executive in 2025 to bring AI music into the industry's formal structures — signing the first AI “music designer” (imoliver) and the breakout AI artist Xania Monet to real record deals. The award recognizes service that built legitimate pathways and protections for AI creators.
