2027 Aimee Awards
On May 6, 2027, the Academy of AI Music will present the first live AIMEE Awards — the AI Music Excellence & Education Awards — at The Masonic, a Live Nation Venue, in San Francisco. After an inaugural 2025 retrospective cycle, the ceremony brings the field together in person for the first time: the creators, technologists, labels, platforms, educators, and fans defining what excellence in AI music looks and sounds like, together in one room for one landmark evening.

The Evening
The AIMEE Awards honor excellence across eight fields — from the marquee, genre-spanning General Field to the individual genres, craft and production, AI innovation, education, responsibility, honorary recognition, and autonomous work. Across the evening, the Academy will present its 2027 honors, celebrate the year's most outstanding AI music and the people behind it, and recognize the educators, researchers, and advocates helping the field grow knowledgeably and responsibly.
Expect on-stage honors and the kind of industry gathering that marks a creative field's arrival — an evening built to give AI music the same sense of occasion the established music world reserves for its best. The evening's live performances will bring that spirit to the stage, pairing cutting-edge AI technology with live human musicianship — a showcase of the very collaboration between people and machines the Academy exists to celebrate.
The first live AIMEE Awards ceremony will take place at The Masonic on California Street, a Live Nation venue, placing the Academy's flagship recognition program in one of the country's most visible technology and culture centers.
